Growing up with my friend Kirk we used to tease/torment his younger brothers.  One of these times we were really tormenting the crap out of one of them.  We infuriated him so much he couldn’t think straight.  He became so mad the only thing he could think of was “YOU GONGEYS!”

The word snow balled from there.  It is now used for anything from dork or geek to a term of endearment.
