Time for my favorite time of the year!

With the arrival of autumn and the days of Indian Summer I get an excited feeling in my stomach. I absolutely love autumn and Indian Summer. It’s a multiple of feelings that culminates into excitement. The smells, the way the trees are coloring, the temprature cooling off and even the feel of everyday life slowing down and relaxing.
This is always the time I get excited to start building Halloween props/decorations. I love Halloween! It’s possibly my most favorite holiday. I can’t wait until Elias is old enough to start appreciating Halloween and the autumn season. Ever year I have the same problem; I get so involved with props/decorations that I forget to get my costume created! Hopefully I don’t have that issue this year. But I probably will.
What costume(s) have you guys/gals thought about this year?
I miss those thing…I love the fall! I miss the weather changes with the seasons…I dont miss snow every day just when christmas is near. I feel that there should be some cold weather happening!
Any way I have only thought of my kids costumes this yr. I was thinking that Ella could be a lady bug and Brandon Buzz lightyear…heis really obsessed with toy story movies!

i love fall. to bad it didnt seem like fall while i was on trek. It was so hot out there. although the stars were amazing.
for my costume i’m going to be Malon from Legend of zelda OoT.
and brian i’m sure i’d love to see the script to do a revised script

I’m ready for fall. I dont like the summer half as much a i love the fall. though it only means winter is close…. i dont htink i can survive another long winter like that again!

Sydnee has the right attitude. Once you graduate and move on from High School you will look back with a little sadness. Mostly from a feeling of loss that you will never have that time or feeling again. School is a fun time in your life. Most people don’t see it that way until 5 or 6 years after graduation. You will most likely never have the same situation in your life again. When will you be able to learn and hang out with friends, all the while not having to pay rent, utilities or other outrageous bills?
It’s pretty sad; most of the friends you have now will slowly fade with time until only 1 or 2 are still around. If you have 2 solid friends from High School by the time you reach 25 you’re lucky! I am lucky and blessed to have a ‘true’ friend from my school days. It is a rare thing and I am very thankful for that.
Sorry so melancholy, I have the blessing, and sometimes curse, of experience and, dare I say it, wisdom. So my advice to you is try and enjoy your last year of High School, it will only happen once in this lifetime.

I totally miss high school. At the time I thought I wanted to be done but really high school was one of the funnest times of my life.

Yeah, i’ve decided to keep my costum ideas to myself for right now.
Fall is my favorite season. Not particularly because of halloween but also because its so beautiful.. another reason is cause of thanksgiving. PIES!!!!

AHHH!!!! Im talking about it still being summer. everyone wants it to be over so fast! What are you talking about going back to school, summer isn’t even over! I mean, look at the olympics, they are still going on.

i hate summer…. i feel so useless! that and i love school so much! That and i dont have a boyfriend to hang out with all summer *coughsashleycough*
